Curativly User Research

Project

Recognizing a critical gap in understanding Curativly’s customer personas, I proposed and designed an interactive style quiz to bridge the disconnect between users and the brand’s eight architectural styles.

This quiz aimed to help users navigate the site with ease, discover personalized content, and deepen their connection to Curativly’s curated offerings.

The project sought to formalize user personas and create a seamless, engaging experience aligned with the brand’s identity.

Challenges

Curativly faced a significant challenge in connecting its defined architectural styles to its target audience. Stakeholders lacked insights into how users engaged with the brand, making it difficult to tailor content and recommendations effectively. The abstract nature of the architectural styles added complexity, requiring a thoughtful approach to make them relatable and intuitive for users.

Additionally, the solution needed to align with Curativly’s brand identity while delivering actionable insights into user behavior. Balancing simplicity and depth was key to creating an experience that resonated with a diverse audience and informed future strategies.

Solution

I developed an interactive, user-friendly style quiz informed by competitive analysis, user personas, and journey maps. This quiz simplified complex architectural styles into relatable questions, offering users personalized recommendations based on their preferences.

By integrating these insights into the quiz design, I formalized user personas and equipped Curativly with the tools to better understand and engage its audience, enhancing both site navigation and user satisfaction.
